The Supreme Court has upheld the Bombay High Court order directing shifting of IPL matches outside drought-hit Maharashtra. Now, there will be no IPL matches in the State in May. However, the match scheduled on 1st May in Pune stands. The apex court today rejected plea of Mumbai Cricket Association and Maharashtra Cricket Association against the High Court order.The dismissal of the petition would lead to relocation of five matches which were to be played at home grounds of IPL franchises — Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants.
