The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a plea seeking an independent probe into the death of special CBI judge BH Loya, who was hearing the alleged Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. The plea will be heard tomorrow.<br/><br/>A bench, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra, today took note of the submission seeking an urgent hearing on the plea for a probe into Loya's death. The plea was filed by a Maharashtra-based journalist. <br/><br/>He submitted that a fair probe was needed into the death. Loya had died of a cardiac arrest in Nagpur, when he had gone to attend a wedding on 1st December 2014. <br/><br/>The issue came under the spotlight in November last year after media reports quoting Loya's sister fuelled suspicion about the circumstances surrounding his death and its link to the case. <br/><br/>A total of 23 accused, including police personnel, are facing trial for their involvement in the case.<br/><br/>
