The Supreme Court on Monday transferred to itself the two petitions relating to the alleged mysterious death of Special CBI Judge B H Loya, pending at Nagpur and Mumbai benches of the Bombay High Court.<br/><br/>During the hearing on the petitions pending before the apex court, the bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra also restrained all the high courts in the country from entertaining any petition relating to Loya's death. The bench also comprised Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud.<br/><br/>The Supreme Court said the issues raised in the two pleas are serious and the court must look into all documents with utmost seriousness. The bench asked the parties to catalogue all documents relating to Loya's death which have not been filed so far, and submit them for its perusal on 2nd February, the next date of hearing.<br/>B H Loya was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh alleged fake encounter case. Loya allegedly died of cardiac arrest in Nagpur in 2014, when he had gone to attend the wedding of a colleague's daughter.
