The Supreme Court has set aside a Karnataka High Court order quashing sanction granted to Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda, and BJP MLA DN Jeevaraj to construct a five-storey building in Bengaluru. A bench of justices Madan B Lokur and SA Bobde said, actions relating to the construction of the building on his plot of land do not suggest any abuse.<br/>The order came on appeals filed by the two against the 2012 judgment of the High Court, which had quashed the orders sanctioning the building construction plans, by the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike. The High Court had also directed the Bangalore Development Authority to take action against them for violating conditions in the lease-cum-sale agreement.
