The Supreme Court today reserved its order on constituting a probe panel to investigate allegations against N Srinivasan and 12 cricketers in IPL betting and spot-fixing scandal after BCCI opposed probe by Justice Mudgal committee into the allegations.
BCCI submitted before the court to let a fresh probe panel look into the allegations against Srinivasan and other cricketers. Earlier, Mudgal committee had expressed its willingness to the Apex Court to probe into the scandal.
On April 22, the Supreme Court rejected BCCI's proposed a three-member panel comprising CBI director RK Raghavan, former Calcutta High Court chief Justice JN Patel and former India captain Ravi Shastri after opposition from Bihar Cricket Association.
