The Supreme Court has relieved Sunil Gavaskar as the interim President of the BCCI. The court appreciated the work done by Gavaskar for smooth conduct of IPL-7 and allowed him to claim compensation from BCCI for the duty done by him. Senior most Vice President of BCCI, Shivlal Yadav has been asked to discharge the functions of BCCI President till further orders of the apex court.
