The Supreme Court today refused to vacate its order staying the Centre's notification lifting ban on Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu. A bench comprising Justices Dipak Misra and N V Ramana said that yesterday's order by which the Centre's notification was stayed doesn't warrant any alteration. <br/><br/>The fresh petitions were filed by some residents of Tamil Nadu who had sought vacation of yesterday's order saying that the age-old cultural tradition of the state should be allowed to continue.<br/><br/>
