The Supreme Court today refused to stay Allahabad High Court's order making Delhi-Noida flyway toll free and asked CAG to verify the cost of Delhi-Noida Direct, DND flyway project and submit a report before it.<br/><br/>Earlier on 27th last month, giving relief to millions of commuters in the NCR region, the Allahabad High Court had ruled that no toll tax shall be taken from those using 8-lane DND flyway.<br/><br/>In its order, the bench of Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice Arun Tandon had said, the contract between Noida Authority and the private company engaged in toll collection is illegal, therefore it has no authority to collect the toll tax from the commuters.
