The Supreme Court today refused to hear a plea seeking its intervention in the public protest in Marina beach in Chennai, to revoke ban on Jallikattu. <br/><br/>A bench, headed by Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar, refused to hear the plea filed by lawyer Raja Raman to take suo moto cognizance for ongoing protests at Marina Beach where police is debarring protesters to take food and water with them when protest is peaceful.<br/><br/>The Apex Court asked the petitioner to file the appropriate plea in the Madras High Court for relief.
