The Supreme Court today re-constituted Special Investigation Team, SIT to monitor probe into black money case. A bench comprising justices H L Dattu, Ranjana Prakash Desai and M B Lokur appointed its retired judges M B Shah as the Chairman and Arijit Pasayat as the Vice Chairman of the Special Investigating Team for providing guidance and direction in the investigation of all cases of black money in the country and abroad.
The apex court directed the Centre to furnish all documents in sealed cover to petitioners within three days documents and information about cases in which probe is complete.
The court also ordered the government to make public details of all 26 cases of individuals probed for stashing black money into foreign tax havens.
The Centre on April 29 had placed before the Supreme Court 26 names and documents of account holders in Liechtenstein Bank in Germany in a sealed cover.
