Supreme Court today questioned the grant of 4.5 percent reservation of Sub Quota to minorities on religious ground in Central educational institutions.

The apex court issued notices and sought response from petitioners who had challenged the 4.5 percent sub-quota.

The government had placed relevant records before the court yesterday.
