The Supreme Court has directed the Rajasthan Government to set up a medical board to examine the condition of self-styled godman Asaram.

Asaram is behind the bars since the 2nd of September, last year.

The Apex Court asked the medical board to submit its report by the 23rd of this month when the matter will come up for hearing.

The Court also issued notice to the state government on Asaram's bail plea in Jodhpur rape case.
