SC nod for BCCI meet on 29th Sep and Prez post polls

The Supreme Court has allowed the Board of Cricket Control in India, BCCI, to hold Annual General Meeting, AGM, on the 29th of this month and conduct election for the post of President. The Apex court in its order, however, restrained N Srinivasan from taking charge as BCCI President if he gets elected to the post in the AGM, till the case against him is pending. The Supreme Court takes strong exception to Srinivasan still holding charge of BCCI when his son-in-law has been charge-sheeted in IPL spot-fixing case.
