The Supreme Court today cleared the way for the announcement of results of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections, in which BCCI-banned former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi stood for the post of president. The apex court today directed election observers to announce the results on the 6th of next month. BCCI has been opposing Modi's return. The elections were held on December 19 last year and supervised by retired Supreme Court judges. The votes by RCA's 33 affiliated members were then submitted to the SC in a sealed envelope.
