Union Urban Development and Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said the Supreme Court has not asked to stop the Central allocation to Polavaram multi-purpose dam project in Andhra Pradesh. The Centre has sanctioned financial assistance for construction of Polavaram project under the legal framework. Mr. Naidu said the Centre has respected the verdict of the apex court and will abide by its decision on this issue, he told media persons after attending a Conclave at Bhubaneswar yesterday.
