SC grants 2-days to Delhi govt to submit proposal on phasing out diesel taxis

Delhi government was today granted two days time by the Supreme Court to submit its proposal on phasing out diesel taxis. Earlier today, the AAP led government moved the apex court seeking time for submitting a detailed proposal, saying the ban on non-CNG taxies is causing inconvenience to the people in the National Capital. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, hundreds of taxi drivers continued to block major roads crippling traffic in the National Capital for the second straight day. They are protesting against last Saturday's apex court decision to ban diesel taxis in the city.
