The Supreme Court has directed Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to ensure there is no violence, destruction of property in both states following its order on Cauvery water sharing. <br/><br/>The court yesterday asserted that the people cannot take law into their hands. <br/><br/>It warned that when there is court order, there should not be any violent agitations and any party aggrieved has the liberty to take legal recourse for mitigation of their grievances.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, in Karnataka, situation has returned to normalcy in the entire state.
