Supreme Court today directed the Centre to put in place a national action plan to combat drug abuse among school children within six months.<br/> <br/>The apex court also asked the Centre to conduct a national survey within 4 months to ascertain the magnitude of drugs and substance abuse among school children. Supreme Court said that school curriculum should be updated to make children aware about drugs and ill-effects of its abuse.
