Supreme Court has said, the contempt case against Vijay Mallya would move further only when the absconding businessman is produced before it. <br/><br/>The apex court was to pronounce the quantum of sentence against Mallya, who has already been convicted for its contempt. The court on Friday considered the Centre's submission that proceedings to extradite Mallya are going on in London.<br/><br/>Mallya had failed to make a personal appearance before the top court despite being directed to do so. The court had held him guilty of contempt on a plea by the consortium of lender banks for his failure to furnish details of all his Indian and offshore assets. Mallya is an accused defaulting a loan of over 9,000 crores involving his defunct Kingfisher Airlines.
