The Supreme Court has appointed a high-power Committee to look into the issue of growing number of casualties of Amarnath pilgrims.

The Committee will visit Amarnath and submit its report by the 10th of August, on facilities to be provided to pilgrims. The apex court will hear the case on 13th August.
