The Supreme Court today cancelled all interim relief including the bail granted to Sahara chief Subrata Roy and two others and directed them to be taken into custody. <br/><br/>A bench headed by Chief Justice T S Thakur was infuriated when the advocate appearing for Sahara, said they have not been involved in the process of selling of properties by Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI.<br/><br/>Counsel appearing for SEBI said that 58 properties were put on auction and they had sold eight of them raising Rs 137 crore. The SEBI counsel further said the list of properties given by Sahara to them were those which were already attached. To this, the bench said Sahara is not cooperating and ordered that Roy and the others — Sahara directors Ashok Roy Choudhary and Ravi Shankar Dubey, be taken into custody. <br/><br/>The apex court had on 16th of this month extended the parole of the Sahara chief till today, which was granted to him in May after his mother passed away. Roy has been lodged in Tihar jail since March 4, 2014 on the orders of the apex court in relation with a long running dispute with market regulator SEBI.
