The Supreme Court today asked former Telecom Minister Sukhram to surrender before the trial court, in connection with the 1993 telecom scam.

The Apex Court also refused relief to former bureaucrat Runu Ghosh and Hyderabad-based businessman P Rama Rao, asking them to surrender.

The three had moved the highest court, challenging the Delhi High Court's December 21st decision, upholding the conviction in the Advance Radio Masts case.

While Sukhram and Ramarao were sentenced a three-year jail term, Runu Ghosh was awarded two years in jail.
