The Supreme Court has asked state pollution control boards to issue common notice to all industrial units to verify whether they have set up primary effluent treatment plants.<br/><br/>On expiry of 3-month notice period, state pollution control boards shall inspect industrial units to ascertain status of primary effluent treatment plants.
