SC asks govt to spell out measures to ease out inconvenience of masses depending on co-operative banks

Supreme court today asked government to spell out measures taken to ease out inconvenience of rural masses, dependent on co-operative banks. It was hearing the plea filed by 14 district co-operative banks in connection with the demonetisation issue.<br/><br/>Attorney general, Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for the government told the supreme court that it has already looked into the issues concerning co-op banks. The matter will now be heard on Monday.
