The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Government to refrain from taking any decision on the implementation of the recommendations of Majithia Wage Board for journalists and non-journalists for two weeks. A bench comprising justices Dalveer Bhandari and Deepak Verma asked the government to place before it the copy of the report. The Centre insisted on the implementation of the recommendations during the pendency of case as only one media house which has come to the court against the recommendations. The court also asked the Centre to supply a copy of the report to the Anand Bazar Patrika which has challenged the recommendation of the wage board.
