Supreme Court has asked Election Commission to file a reply within two weeks on a plea seeking direction for common electoral rolls for Parliament, Assembly and local body polls to save public money and manpower. <br/><br/>A bench comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra, and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, listed the matter for disposal on March 5 and asked Attorney General KK Venugopal to assist the court in the matter. <br/><br/>The Apex Court had on October 13 last year sought the response of the Centre and the Election Commission on the plea, filed by Delhi BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay.<br/>
