The Supreme Court has allowed Hockey India to field Indian Team in the Asian Games to be held in November at Guangzhou, China. The apex court has also asked Indian Federation, Hockey India, and Indian Association to start a dialogue with ministry for considering the possibility of merging the two disputing federations into one body. The two judge bench comprising Justice RV Raveendran and Justice HL Gokhale decided to take up the matter for final disposal in December. Hockey India and Indian Hockey Federation are involved in a tussle over recognition between the two federations.
