In relief to Reliance Industries, the Supreme Court today allowed the plea of Reliance Industries Ltd for arbitration in London in its dispute with the Union Government over royalties and taxes in Panna, Mukta and Tapti oil & gas fields on western coast.The apex court quashed Delhi High Court order by which it had agreed to hear Centre's plea against foreign arbitration. The Oil ministry had earlier opposed arbitration in London and wanted the issue be decided by Indian court.
