Moving towards digitalization, SBI and Indian Railways have entered into a tie-up whereby the SBI PoS terminals are being installed at various locations. <br/><br/>As a part of this initiative, SBI has today installed POS terminal at ticket counter of Kamakhya Railway station in Guwahati. Official sources said that the SBI is going to install POS machines phase wise at all Railway stations in entire North East. <br/><br/>There is a requirement of 698 terminals during the first phase of mass installation POS at Railway stations which will cover all ticket counters and parcel counters coming under the operation of the North East Frontier Railway.<br/>
