The State Bank of India is planning to add another 8,000 ATMs to its existing network for accepting and dispensing cash. The Bank sources said it plans to add 4,000 recyclers, which do both cash dispensing and deposits apart from installing 2,000 cash dispensers and 2,000 cash deposit machines. SBI currently has an ATM network of 43,000 which dispenses an average of 2,400 crore rupees in cash per day.
