The Prince of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud today held extensive discussions with the External Affairs Minister Mr S M Krishana this morning to strengthen the Cooperation between the two countries. Energy security remained the focus of discussions . During his stay in New Delhi he called on the President Mrs Pratibha Devi Singh Patil and the Vice President Mohd Hamid Ansari .During his interactions with the Indian leadership Mr. Salman Bin Abdul Aziz called for concerted action against terrorism and extremism irrespective of their source. He maintained that the two countries are poised for a qualitative and stronger relationship and emphasized the need for increasing economic and business interaction to promote greater mutual investments .The Saudi Prince invited Indian business leaders to explore Saudi markets. and underscored the contribution of Indian community in the economic development of Saudi Arabia. He also exchanged views with the leaders of the business community . The Saudi Crown Prince later left back for Riyadh.
