Saudi officials promise justice will be done in case of an Indonesian maid

Saudi officials have promised that justice will be done in the case of an Indonesian maid who was allegedly abused and beaten by her employers. The young woman was said to have been admitted to hospital in the city of Madina, unconscious and with severe wounds. The Saudi response came after a highly unusual intervention from the Indonesian President himself. President Susilo Yudhoyono described the abuse of the young woman as extraordinary torture and said he was sending a team of diplomats to Saudi Arabia to pursue justice.
