A Saudi diplomat has been accused of raping two Nepalese domestic helps in Gurgaon. According to the FIR registered by Gurgaon police, the two women were lured to India and then kept in wrongful confinement by the diplomat.<br/><br/>Nepal Ambassador to India, Deep Upadhyay today said in New Delhi that the Embassy is in touch with Ministry of External Affairs and local police authorities over the issue. <br/><br/>Mr Upadhyay said the Embassy has sought help from the Indian Government for necessary investigation of the case. He said investigation is on and local police authorities are establishing the case. The Ambassador of Nepal said at the moment it would not be prudent to say anything more until police finalises the case. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, when contacted, sources in the External Affairs Ministry said they are waiting for the detailed report from the police. Sources said if police thinks there is need for interrogation of the accused diplomat, then the Ministry may take up the matter with Saudi authorities.
