Saudi Arabia has prepared for a record turnout at the annual Hajj pilgrimage which will commence from Wednesday. More than 1 Lakh security guards have been deployed to cope with the 25-lakh pilgrims. Around 20 thousand health officials have been also deployed keeping in view the threat of swine flu in addition to other health worries.Meanwhile Indian consul Haj at the Indian consulate at Jeddah BS Mubarak told AIR correspondent that more than 1 lakh 65 thousand Indian pilgrims have reached for Haj pilgrimage and these pilgrims will start their journey to Mina from Wednesday for pilgrimage. He said that all administrative and medical service arrangements have been made to serve the pilgrims.A 25 member Haj goodwill delegation headed by Mr. Saifuddin Soz has also reached Mecca. The delegates met several Haj pilgrims and after enquiring about their wellbeing expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the Indian Haj mission.
