Saudi Arabia says it has arrested 149 people with suspected Al-Qaeda links over the past eights months. The interior ministry today said the alleged militants had been planning attacks against the government and journalists. The ministry said the suspects are a mix of Saudis and other nationalities and had links to 19 Al-Qaeda cells.
