Saudi forces are continuing their operations against Yemeni Rebels in the south of the country. Saudi Arabia's air force yesterday attacked Yemeni rebels holding land inside the kingdom. The Official Saudi Press Agency said in a statement that its aircraft struck positions in Jabal al-Dokhan and other areas in the mountainous region of the southern Jazan province bordering Yemen after the rebels seized territory and killed a Saudi border guard. It added that operations would continue until the gunmen are cleared from Saudi territory and Saudi Arabia has increased its forces in the region and evacuated villages in response. The statement said that the presence of the infiltrators in Saudi Arabia is a violation of the sovereignty of the kingdom.<br/><br/>Concerns have been expressed that Yemen's conflict with Houthi rebels in the north-western region of Yemen may spill over in to Saudi border with Yemen. Saudi Shares nearly 1,458 kilometer border with Yemen. Due to this conflict, tension between Saudi and Iran has also increased as Saudi Arab accuses Iran for supporting Shia rebels in Yemen but Iran refuted the charges. The Yemeni army has been pursuing an offensive against Houthi rebels in north since 11th August this year.
