The health condition of Sri Satya Saibaba continues to be critical. In the latest health bulletin issued on Tuesday morning, Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences Director, A N Safaya said his condition continued to be same as Monday. However he said the level of consciousness has improved. Stating that his vital systems are in stable condition, the Director said Saibaba is still on assisted ventilator and on slow dialysis process. The spiritual leader was admitted to hospital at Puttaparthi following lung congestion on 28th of last month. AIR correspondent reports, tight security arrangements have been made near Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthy where Satya Saibaba is under treatment as thousands of devotees are thronging the hospital. The anxious followers of the spiritual leader have been expressing concern over his health condition in the wake of several roumers making rounds since Monday. District police have imposed Section 144 near the hospital to control people who are gathering in large numbers. Meanwhile, putting on hold his proposed visit to Puttaparthy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reviewed the situation from Hyderabad. Later, Revenue Minister Raghuveera Reddy told reporters that the state Government has sent Principal Secretary Finance L V Subrahmaniam to take all required measures and coordinate with the Trust at Puttaparthy. A team of doctors has also been rushed from Hyderabad. Camping in Puttaparthy, Principal Secretary Health P V Ramesh has been coordinating all medical teams. Stating that the Government has left no stone unturned to improve the health condition of the spiritual leader, the minister has appealed to people to maintain calm and not to get anxious. He assured that transparency would be maintained about Saibaba’s health condition.
