The condition of Sri Satya Saibaba is reportedly critical. The team of doctors treating him at the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences said this in a health bulletin last evening. Saibaba has been admitted to hospital at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh following lung congestion on 28th of last month. Director of the Institute A N Safia said in the bulletin that Saibaba’s vital systems are not adequately responding and his condition is critical. Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is visiting Saibaba today. Previously, State Major Industries Minister J Geetha reddy and Revenue Minister Raghuveera Reddy who are in Puttaparthi monitoring the conditions have briefed the Chief Minister about the health condition of Sai Baba. To control thousands of anxious followers who are thronging Puttaparthi, district authorities have imposed section 144 under Criminal procedure code.
