Satvik Bulls emerged as champions in the Lokmat-NPL football tournament defeating Baidyanath Heroes by a margin of a single goal in a closely contested final match in Nagpur last night. The two teams were even with two goals each at the end of the first half. They engaged in the attacking game during the second half and Satvik Bulls overpowered their rivals by 4-3 to clinch the title. Prakash Thorat of Baidyanath Heroes claimed the Golden Boot for scoring the highest number of goals in the tournament while Aquib Faraz of Satvik Bulls was adjudged the man of the match.
