In Haryana, the agitation of Sarvkhap Mahapanchayat on Mirchpur issue entered 9th day today. The Mahapanchayat has further intensified their stir blocking nearly 15 major roads in Jind district cutting it off from the other parts of the state. The protestors also blocked Sirsar-Chandigarh national Highway , Jind -Patyala National Highway and Hansi National Highway affecting supply to neighbouring states. The agitators are continuing their dharna on rail tracks near Julani village disrupting rail traffic on Hisar – Rewari , Delhi-Ferozpur and Hisar-Bhiwani railway lines . In Hisar and Jind districts, Haryana Roadways has suspended its bus services following disturbances on road till further orders. Meanwhile, the state government has deployed three companies of CRPF in Jind to maintain law and order. The authorities are trying to persuade the protestors to call off their stir in the wake of the state government's offer to request the centre for a CBI probe in Mirchpur violence. But the Mayapanchat remained adamant on its demand including SIT probe and shifting of the trial from Delhi to Haryana as well as the shifting of the accused from Tihar jail of Delhi to Hisar in Haryana.
