In Mumbai, French President and his wife Carla Bruni today laid wreath at the Police Memorial on Marine drive in memory of the brave personnel, who lost their lives in the 26 November, 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Twenty navy personnel of France along with state police personnel also paid their tributes to the martyrs. State Director General of Police (DGP) D Sivanandan, Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjeev Dayal and Consul General of France in Mumbai, Mr. Francois Pujolas were present at the venue. The French President, who is on a day-long visit to Mumbai today, is now addressing a special memorial service being held at the Oberoi Hotel. In the second half of the day, he would address a business meet, organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The event will be held at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace. It would be attended by Indian and French business leaders.
