Sardar Sarovar Dam on Narmada River filled up to 95.65 per cent of its total capacity

<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the Sardar Sarovar Dam on Narmada River is filled up with 95.65 per cent of its total capacity. According to official sources, the dam is still getting inflow of 56,000 cusec water from neighboring Madhya Pradesh. The current water level in the dam is at 137.38 meter against the highest possible level of 138.68 meter. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The height of the Sardar Sarovar Dam had been raised from 121.92 meter earlier to 138.68 meter in the year 2017 after installation and closure of 30 gates over the dam structure.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that Sardar Sarovar dam is considered as the life line of Gujarat providing drinking water to more than 3 crore people across the State.</span><br />
