BJP leader Sarbananda Sonowal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday evening. <br/><br/>Mr. Sonowal, who will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Assam on Tuesday, also held meeting with party President Amit Shah last night to discuss government formation in the state. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in Assam will be held in Guwahati tomorrow to elect Mr. Sonowal as its leader. The BJP and its allies Asom Gana Parishad and Bodoland People's Front scored a massive victory in the assembly elections, won 86 seats in the 126 member assembly.
