'Rozgar Mela' is an initiative undertaken by the Union government, as directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, towards the recruitment process for filling up vacancies at various central government departments.<br />''<br />''As a part of the mission, new candidates were offered appointment letters at various locations in the country and the candidates selected were also addressed by the Prime Minister through virtual mode nationwide.<br />''<br />''In this third 'Rozgar Mela' new appointments, 71000 vacancies were filled today of the targeted 10 lakhs jobs across various government departments.<br />''<br />''Today, 199 new recruitees from various government departments including Railways, Postal, CBDT, CBIC, EPFO, Home Affairs, Banks, University, Health and Family Welfare, Defence, Higher Education, Oil India Limited, Geological Survey of India were handed over the appointment letters in this Guwahati programme.</span><br />
