The Enforcement Directorate has conducted searches at a south Delhi flat allegedly belonging to Piyali Sen, wife of Saradha scam accused Sudipta Sen.

Official sources said a team from the agency searched the flat yesterday in connection with their money laundering probe in the multi-crore chitfund scam.

The searches were conducted on the directions of the agency's zonal office in Kolkata which is probing the finances of the company which is alleged to have duped numerous investors of their money.

Piyali and Sudipta's Subhojit had been arrested by the ED few weeks back in Kolkata after they were declared absconding in this case for a long time.The agency has sealed the flat after conducting searches, sources said.
