Hosts Kerala have stormed into the finals of the 67th Santosh Trophy football tournament. In the first semi-final at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi yesterday, Kerala defeated Maharashtra 2-1. The match was locked 1-1 at the end of the stipulated 90 minutes. Kerala's Shibin Lal found the net in extra time and took Kerala into the finals.In the second semi-final, Punjab will take on reigning champions Services at Kochi.The final is slated to take place on Sunday.
