<span style="color: #222222;">Noted environmentalist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal and entrepreneur, educationist and philanthropist Vikramjit Singh Sahni have been declared elected unopposed for Rajya Sabha from Punjab. <br />''<br />''They had filed nominations as candidates of Aam Aadmi Party which had an overwhelming majority in the Punjab Assembly. The returning officer Surinder Pal said that they had been elected as there was no other candidate to oppose them so there was no need to go for polling. He said that both have been elected to fill the seats in the house of two members Mrs. Ambika Soni and Balwinder Singh.</span><br />
