Government says operation Sankat Mochan is successfully underway in South Sudan to evacuate Indians in view of tensions there. <br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said the <br/>first batch of rescued persons from that country will arrive Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala tomorrow morning. He said, two C-17 Globe Master aircrafts of the Indian Air Force have landed in Juba. <br/><br/>The aim is to evacuate all the Indian nationals who have expressed their interest in leaving. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the evacuation has been meticulously planned in coordination with the local authorities as well as the support of the Indian peace keeping contingent in South Sudan. <br/> <br/>Operation Sankat Mochan has underscored once again the Government's proactive approach towards helping Indians in distress anywhere in the world.
