Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore has said that "Sankalp se Siddhi" is every Indians' fundamental duty, and exhorts upon the people to make India stronger. <br/><br/>Talking to media persons in Leh today, he said, the purpose of his visit is to encourage the people especially the women team which came all along from Surat. He said, we have to make India stronger and every Indian must put in efforts towards the New India-Manthan campaign and make it a mass movement. <br/><br/>The Minister said, Indian Constitution talks about the Fundamental Rights and at the same time it reminds the countrymen of their Fundamental Duties towards the Nation. <br/><br/>Mr Rathore said, Sankalp se Siddhi is part of those Fundamental Duties that bring the nation together. He said, the priority of the government is to ensure development of far flung areas with the focus on communication and inclusivity. The Minister said, he has come to Leh to celebrate Independence Day in the most beautiful region of the country. <br/><br/>Mr Rathore informed that during his stay he will participate in Tiranga Yatra at Leh. To encourage the women bikers' team from Surat, the minister will welcome them at Khardung La, the highest motorable place in the world and will also unfurl the national flag. <br/><br/>During the two-day visit, Mr Rathore will pledge and promote Sankalp se Siddhi campaign, a pan-India programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9th August from New Delhi. <br/><br/>Earlier in the day, he reviewed the functioning of the media units in Leh at a meeting and also interacted with different delegations drawn from political parties and civil society to listen their issues and demands.
