Commonwealth Games bronze winner Sanjeev Rajput has become the third Indian marksman to book a berth for the London Olympics. Sanjeev qualified for the 2012 Olympics today after clinching the gold medal at the 50 metre Rifle 3 Positions Men Final at shooting World Cup in Changwon, Korea. Sanjeev shot a total of 1278.2 points to win the gold, beating Serbian Nemanja Mirosavljev and Ole Kristian Bryhn of Norway. World record holder Gagan Narang was the first Indian shooter to book a place for the London Olympics when he won the bronze medal in men's 10 metre air rifle in the World Shooting Championships in Munich last year.Rookie shooter Hariom Singh had bagged the country's second quota place and the first ever in the 50 metre rifle prone event for the London Olympics when he finished sixth at the 50th World Shooting Championship in Munich last year. More than 500 shooters from 58 countries competed in the World Cup in Korea from April 7 to 14.
